Experience: Zhe Jiang founded Upsolar in 2006 and currently serves as the CEO of Upsolar Group. Mr. Jiang has over ten years of experience in the renewable energy industry. From 2002 - 2006, he was employed by EDF (Életricité de France) Energies Nouvelles, where he served as a Group Controller. Mr. Jiang has accumulated rich experience in wind farm, biomass and solar project development in Europe and in North America through the acquisition of enXco, Inc. by EDF-EN. He was mainly involved in project development, modeling, financing, operational and maintenance control. During his employment at EDF-EN, the company was successfully listed on the Paris Stock Exchange and has since become the biggest project development company of renewable energy facilities in Europe. Mr. Jiang brought Upsolar from a VC-invested startup to a multinational corporation with a presence on 4 continents and in more than 20 countries. Under his leadership, Upsolar’s turnover has a CAGR of more than 80%. His implementation of the core strategies of the Upsolar Group has allowed the company to establish a unique position as an industry leader, known for its innovate business model and high quality products.

Experience: Alan Weng came to Upsolar with 12 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining Upsolar, Alan was Head of Group Internal Audits at WX PharmaTech (Cayman) Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed company. He has worked for several well-known multinational corporations including FedEx Express, PWC, Ciba Vision and Deloitte Touche. Mr. Weng is a key member of Upsolar's executive team and participates in overall corporate strategic planning. His extensive expertise in Corporate Finance, Risk Management, External/Internal Audit, ERP Maintenance, and people management is instrumental in guiding Upsolar’s continuous development plans. Mr. Weng’s responsibility is to direct and oversee all financial activities of Upsolar group, which requires leadership and coordination of Upsolar’s administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts.

Experience: Troy Dalbey was hired by Upsolar in 2009 to open the company's North American Headquarters and launch the U.S. based subsidiary, Upsolar America, Inc. As National Sales Manager, he was responsible for the company’s strategic growth in the North American PV market through key strategic partnerships, establishing module bankability with U.S. Lending institutions and module supply into North American distribution, PV Project developers and commercial integrators. As a result of his efforts, Mr. Dalbey was promoted to Managing Director, North America in November 2010. Prior to joining Upsolar America, he served in various capacities of both project development and sales for American Solar Electric. He was previously Director of Sales & Marketing for Third Pillar Systems, a leading provider of commercial finance and leasing software solutions to lending institutions throughout North America and Europe. Mr. Dalbey also brings nearly 10 years of experience in corporate and project finance to Upsolar America, and is most notably a former NCAA Champion, world record holder and two-time Olympic Champion in Swimming.

Experience: Eric Liu worked for the Carrier Corporation in Sales and Key Account Management before joining Upsolar. He joined Upsolar in February of 2009 as Head of Sales and Assistant to the CEO. Mr. Liu has made major contributions to Upsolar’s global sales since joining the company. Through his efforts over the last three years, Upsolar has set up subsidiaries and built up teams in each local market. Annual shipments have increased more than 100% during this period of time. In his current position, Mr. Liu takes on more cross-functional responsibilities including, but not limited to, group operation planning and process organization, logistics management, emerging market development, new product launch cycle and optimization of customer satisfaction.

Experience: With 13 years of experience in the semiconductor industry (Philips & NXP Semiconductors), Stephane Dufrenne brings to Upsolar a wealth of knowledge in technology development, program and operations management. His last position within NXP Semiconductors as Managing External Manufacturing in Asia is a great asset to further optimize the performance of Upsolar’s manufacturing platforms. Based in Asia for 9 years- 3 in China and 6 in Singapore- Mr. Dufrenne is no stranger to motivating international teams in streamlining large manufacturing operations and driving innovation programs. Mr. Dufrenne is based in Shanghai and supervises directly all Upsolar Group technical functions including quality systems, customer support, certifications, R&D center management, new product development and system application development.

Experience: Roger Lu joined Upsolar in 2006, after serving as purchasing director for a large Chinese stated-owned enterprise and listed company. He currently focuses on global procurement and has extensive experience in team management. As the General Manager of Upsolar Applied Material Co., Ltd. and Upsolar Silicon Material Co., Ltd., Mr. Lu is responsible for the centralized procurement of applied materials and the management of the silicon materials supply chain for the Upsolar Group.

Experience: Enrico Carniato has been a part of the Upsolar family since late 2009. Mr. Carniato joined the PV industry in 2007 as the Business Development Manager for a PV module manufacturer based in Taiwan. He began his career with Upsolar as the Italy Country Manager and has since acquired responsibility for overseeing all European branches, developing sales strategy for local markets and setting up regional offices as Europe Sales Director. Mr. Carniato cultivated his Sales and Marketing Development skills working for Asian companies in the garment accessory and fashion eyewear business based in Europe, the Middle East and South America. During these 7 years, he developed distribution channels for well-known brands including Levi's Eyewear and New Balance Eyewear.

Experience: Noémie Bourdin brings to Upsolar a wealth of experience in driving marketing endeavors for the solar industry. Before joining the company as Marketing Manager in 2009, Ms. Bourdin spent several years with Trina Solar, where she earned the title of Marketing Specialist. In 2012, Ms. Bourdin was elevated to her current role of Marketing and Branding Director, where she oversees the strategic development and execution of Upsolar’s branding initiatives and global marketing campaigns.
